first_imgMarriottSheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas There’s a new name for Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas with the announcement by parent company Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, that the Queensland gem has been designated a “Sheraton Grand” resort. The resort, which recently underwent a AUD$43M renovation, is now known as Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas – joining Sheraton Grand Mirage Gold Coast as the only two Sheraton Grand properties in Australia. “We are proud to receive the Sheraton Grand designation and join the existing portfolio of esteemed Sheraton hotels and resorts worldwide,” said Steve Molnar, General Manager for Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas. “The designation is a testament of our excellent relationship with our owners, who work closely with us to ensure the resort continuously exceeds guest expectations in design and service.
