With six points separating these 5 teams Bonagee, Dunfanaghy , Kilmacrennan, Swilly and Ballyraine all have it to play for in the 2nd half of the season. Next week 4 of the top 5 teams are playing each other. First play Second as Dunfanaghy at home could share the spoils with unbeaten Bonagee. Fifth place Ballyraine need to get a result against 3rd place Kilmacrennan to keep them in the hunt. Also Swilly need to keep all 3 points at home to Letterkenny to stay in touch. At this younger age group, consistency is the key but no one can predict the eventual winners as on any given day, any team is capable of beating each other. P W D L PTS DUNFANAGHY YOUTHS 9 8 0 1 24 BONAGEE UNITED 8 8 0 0 24 KILMACRENNAN CELTIC 9 8 0 1 24  SWILLY ROVERS 8 6 0 2 18 BALLYRAINE UNITED 9 6 0 3 18 GLENCAR 10 4 1 5 13 MULROY ACADEMY 10 3 1 6 10 LETTERKENNY ROVERS 9 3 0 6 9 LAGAN HARPS 10 2 0 8 6 MILFORD UNITED 10 2 0 8 6 ILLISTRIN UNITED 10 0 0 10 0 RESULTS SAT 12th JANUARYUNDER 14 PREMIER DIVISIONSwilly Rovers 0 – 2 Illistrin United Advertisement Bonagee United 6 – 0 Lagan HarpsFIXTURES SAT 19th JANUARYBonagee United v Swilly RoversGlencar v Ballyraine United Advertisement Illistrin United v Kilmacrennan Celtic UNDER 14 PREMIER DIVISIONWith Illistrin United having nine wins out of nine, followed closely by Swilly Rovers and Bonagee United. It seems that the league winners and the two Champions league spots will be decided by the above three teams unless Glencar can have a great run in the 2nd half of the season. The big game next week is Swilly away to Bonagee where the home side will need to take points of Swilly. UNDER 14 PREMIER DIVISION P W D L PTS ILLISTRIN UNITED 9 9 0 0 27 SWILLY ROVERS 9 8 0 1 24 BONAGEE UNITED 9 7 0 2 21 GLENCAR 9 5 1 3 18 MILFORD UNITED 10 5 1 4 16 MULROY ACADEMY 10 4 1 5 13 LETTERKENNY ROVERS 10 3 2 5 11 BALLYRAINE UNITED 9 3 2 4 11 KILMACRENNAN CELTIC 8 1 3 4 6 LAGAN HARPS 10 1 2 7 5 DUNFANAGHY YOUTHS 10 0 0 10 0RESULTS 12th JANUARYUNDER 16 PREMIER DIVISIONSwilly Rovers 3 – 1 Lagan HarpsDunfanaghy Yths 2 – 2 Bonagee UnitedIllistrin United 7 – 1 Bonagee TigersFIXTURES SAT 19th JANUARYIllistrin United v Dunfanaghy YthsSwilly Rovers v Bonagee UnitedUNDER 16 PREMIER DIVISIONAs you can see from the below table, and because of players sitting their Junior Cert Exams this year and the Champions League starting in February. The under 16 Division is almost at an end. With only eight matches in the league, it looks like (same as last year) as far as title contenders are concerned as only Letterkenny or Swilly can win it. Bonagee could still sneak a Champions league spot if Swilly fail to win any of their remaining 3 games which incidentally are against Letterkenny, Illistrin and next week Bonagee. Big Match this week is Swilly at home to Bonagee. UNDER 16 PREMIER DIVISION P W D L PTS LETTERKENNY ROVERS 6 6 0 0 18 SWILLY ROVERS 5 5 0 0 15 BONAGEE UNITED 7 4 2 1 14 MULROY ACADEMY 7 4 0 3  12 LAGAN HARPS 7 3 2 2 11 DUNFANAGHY YOUTHS 6 2 2 2 8 ILLISTRIN UNITED 6 2 2 2 8 BALLYARE DIAMONDS 7 1 0 6 3 BONAGEE TIGERS 7 0 0 7 0 FIXTURES W/E 20th JANUARYUNDER 12 RESERVE DIVISIONDunfanaghy Blues v Swilly RamblersUNDER 12 RESERVE DIVISIONAnother close league with Cappry Crusaders from East Donegal leading the pack, followed by three teams who are still in contention, Glencar Hammers, Letterkenny Crusaders and Dunfanaghy Blues. As Ballyare Diamonds pulled out of the reserve league, the league tables were corrected and now have only seven matches left to play. UNDER 12 RESERVE DIVISION P W D L PTS CAPPRY CRUSADERS 7 6 0 1 18 GLENCAR HAMMERS 7 5 2 0 17 LETTERKENNY CRUSADERS 7 4 1 2 13 DUNFANAGHY BLUES 6 4 1 1 13 BALLYRAINE CELTIC 7 3 0 4 9 BONAGEE TIGERS 7 2 0 5 6 SWILLY RAMBLERS  6 0 1 5 1 LURGY CELTIC 7 0 1 6 1  UNDER 14 RESERVE DIVISIONManor Town have also pulled out due to lack of players so the league has been updated and it’s a two horse race between Glencar Hammers and Bonagee Tigers for the title. And with only four games left, it looks like it’s going to the wire.UNDER 14 RESERVE DIVISION P W D L PTS GLENCAR HAMMERS 8 5 3 0 18 BONAGEE TIGERS 7 5 1 1 16 SWILLY ROVERS 8 3 2 3 11 BALLYRAINE CELTIC 8 1 1 6 4 BALLYARE DIAMONDS 7 1 1 5 4FOOTBALL: LETTERKENNY & DISTRICT SCHOOLBOYS LEAGUE RESULTS AND TABLES was last modified: January 14th, 2013 by BrendaShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:FOOTBALL: LETTERKENNY & DISTRICT SCHOOLBOYS LEAGUE RESULTS AND TABLESlast_img
