DDTV: IS THIS THE BEST GOAL EVER SCORED IN A LADIES GAA MATCH BY FOUR MASTERS STAR KATE MCGOWAN ?

first_imgClick on the video above to watch this absolutely stunning goal scored by Kate McGowan of Four Masters.Kate scored the sublime individual effort during their in Ulster Final against Monaghan Harps at Brewster Park a fortnight ago. Four Masters controversially lost this game despite thinking they had secured a draw. There was confusion at the end of the match which was played a fortnight ago.The game ended in a draw, however the referee had Four Masters ahead by two and awarded them the victory, however it was then overruled and the game ended in a draw. However, a few days later the sorry saga took another unexpected twist when the governing body awarded Monaghan Harps the victory. Despite all that administrative nonsense, you can’t take away the quality of the goal. What a unbelievable goal from Kate McGowan. Is it the best GAA goal you’ve ever seen scored in a ladies match?Video courtesy of Jerome Quinn.DDTV: IS THIS THE BEST GOAL EVER SCORED IN A LADIES GAA MATCH BY FOUR MASTERS STAR KATE MCGOWAN ? was last modified: November 11th, 2014 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:DDTVfour mastersGAAKate McGowanLadiesnewsSportUlster Finallast_img read more

Mancini: I was confident before the game

first_imgGalatasary boss Roberto Mancini said he was surprised at how poorly his team performed against Chelsea. With the tie level at 1-1 after an even first leg in Turkey, Mancini’s team looked to have at least a fighting chance of reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.But Chelsea comfortably secured a place in the last eight, with first-half goals from Samuel Eto’o and Gary Cahill giving them a 2-0 victory.“We played really badly and and didn’t deserve anything,” Mancini admitted. The former Manchester City manager added: “We didn’t get a chance and when you don’t get a chance you don’t score.“After the game we played in Istanbul I was confident we could do a good game and have a chance to score, but instead we did nothing.”See also:Mancini tips Man City to pip Chelsea and Liverpool to the titleFollow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebooklast_img read more
