Munster Council to decide on final venue

first_imgThe Competition Controls Committee will meet to choose the venue for the July 12th decider.Meanwhile Limerick now face into the qualifiers following their 4-23 to 1-16 loss to Tipp at the Gaelic Grounds yesterday where they will face Westmeath.Yesterdays man of the match John Bubbles O’Dwyer says Limerick are still a very good team and will have a say in the All Ireland Championship. The other Round 1 hurling qualifier draws see Clare entertain Offaly, Wexford host Cork and Laois will welcome Dublin.Those ties are fixed for July 4th but confirmation of times, dates and venues will be announced latter.In Round 2A of the football qualifiers Clare take on Longford in Ennis, Antrim will travel to Fermanagh, Offaly host Dublin or Kildare and Cavan host Roscommon.Those fixtures will also take place on the weekend of the 4th of July.Tipp Senior footballers will find out next Monday who they meet in Round 2B of the qualifiers.last_img
